New Talents

Mississauga Latin Festival LIVE 2022

One of the objectives of the Mississauga Latin Festival is to promote the Latin artist in Canada. This year Mississauga Latin Festival has opened a space within its programming so that new talents can make their debut for the first time on a big stage.
We know that this opportunity will help them boost their artistic and professional career. Below we present the New Talents 2022.

Urban & Pop Music

Two Venezuelan singers met in Canada and decided to create music together. Jose Rojas and Gilbert, both have been influenced by music at an early age. They work together creating and interpreting music, they want to keep on doing what they love and want more people to enjoy their music.

Skyzz is a pop singer-songwriter from the tropical country of Belize. Now residing in Canada, his music is an injection of styles from both countries, inspired by genres such as Latin Pop, Afrobeat, Hip-hop, and Alternative Rock. In 2017 he won Monitoba’s CJ107’s title of Most Talented Performer. Now in Toronto, Skyzz’ first collaboration with MellyQueen has won the hearts of the Latin community. Unlike the title of their song “Lento Y Pegadito”, the love for this single was quick and expansive among the Latin community.
