ZUMBA Workshop
Zumba has become very popular in recent years, and with good reason! There are many health benefits from a Zumba workout, you burn lots of calories while enjoying great music such as cumbia, vallenato, merengue, and much more.
Julieta Tabares, born in Colombia, has been a Zumba instructor for over 12 years, have fun and enjoy your workout!

Folklore Exhibition - PERU
PERUVIAN ROOTS is a group of people who are proud and passionate about their Peruvian culture and their main purpose is to share a little bit of the Peruvian culture through their dances.

MC ZULEK
Singer - MLF New Talent
Sulek is a Canadian Latin/Reggaeton artist. He was born in Mexico City and moved to Toronto, Canada at a young age. Coming from a musical family and culture, Sulek found his love for music early and has continued to explore that love. He has performed all across North America at individual shows and festivals and continues to explore new regions to showcase his talents. Sulek continues to explore his sound, experimenting with Latin-influenced pop, reggaeton, dancehall, and afrobeat music.

KANTUTA
Folklore Exhibition - BOLIVIA
Kantuta is the national flower of Bolivia; it grows only in the Bolivian Altiplano Heights. It has the colors of the national flag, red, yellow, and green. The dance group Kantuta de Bolivia was organized in 2017 with the goal to express our heritage and traditions through cultural dances. Our focus is to represent and expand various dances to current Lantix generations in Canada so our cultural heritage of Bolivian folklore is not lost here.

Singer - MLF New Talent
Passionate about music she enjoys performing in different festivals as well as school events. She loves to interpret but also to write the lyrics for her sons. Daniela is of Colombian origin.

BEBEBOY
Singer - EL SALVADOR
Bebeboy is a Hispanic artist and producer from Toronto, Canada. Growing up in a musical household alongside his brother Bounce Zaddy, Bebeboy was exposed to the wonders of expressing himself through music while having a strong understanding of his heritage. Staying true to his roots, Bebeboy successfully manages to intertwine his family history of Latin music with his cultural anchor, the Toronto R&B scene.

Folklore Exhibition - COLOMBIA
Yambeque is a dance school focused on salsa, bachata, and cumbia, they also have an excellent dance group of Colombian folk dances in a variety of rhythms. Today we will enjoy the performance of adults and kids from the school.

THE MEXICAN FOLK BALLET
Folklore Exhibition - MEXICO
The Mexicans Folk Ballet, a Mexican dance company established in Toronto in 2012 under the direction of Jorge Zarate Tristan, with the main purpose of sharing and promoting Mexico’s culture, traditions and folklore through dance, based on the cultural heritage of Mexico, enriching and sharing it with the Canadian and International community.

Singer - BOLIVIA
Rosario Arce has a unique style in the interpretation of Bolivian folklore and Latin-American music. She sings in English, French, Quechua, Aymara, and Spanish. For more than a decade, Rosario has remained one of the most requested singers in the multicultural world of Canada. Rosario has been recognized by the Bolivian Government as the “Ambassador of the Bolivian & Latin American Culture in Canada”

Dance Exhibition - CANADA
Mark Kowalski, Owner of Latin Energy Dance. Mark started dancing Ballroom almost 25 Years ago. His journey continued into country and swing dancing and also Latin dances. Has been dancing, competing, teaching, and choreographing Latin Dances for over 10 years. He travels all over the world to train with some of the world-renowned instructors. He is always striving to learn more and to learn about the roots of the dance in order to dance with flavor and style. Mark believes in quality and technique over quantity.

Musical Organization EL PARRANDON is a group formed by Colombian and Mexican musicians. Musical Directors Mariano Rodriguez and Oscar Romay and under the General Direction of William Arévalo and with the assistance of Fredy Velez, El Parrandon is always ready to make everyone dance!

EL SWING DE AZURIS
Music Band
Born in the Dominican Republic, singer Bladimir Azuris de Jesus formed El Swing de Azuris in 2009. He started his career with the merengue group La Banda Bella in 1999, where he showed his capacity as a choreographer and singer. When La Banda Bella parted ways and in 2005 Azuris formed the project Mezcla Típica. As the lead singer, he demonstrated his musical ability and conquered the hearts of the Toronto Latin community. While on a trip to the Dominican Republic, El Swing de Azuris was born and he recorded his first promotional single for the new style of music – Urban Merengue.

XTRAVAGANZA SHOW
Dance Group - CUBA
Xtravaganza is the only Latin Cabaret Dinner show in Canada & the US, Xtravaganza truly captures the essence and elegance of the traditional Latin Cabaret clubs such as the legendary “Tropicana Show” in Havana Cuba. This production is made out of 26 artists, 14 professional male and female dancers, 8 musicians, 1mc host, and a great behind-the-scenes cast that works hard to deliver a great show. This production with spectacular costumes, great dancers, live music, and dinner will transport you to the tropics where you will feel away on holiday for a night without having to get on a plane.

International Performer - COLOMBIA
Jair Santrich Colombian singer and composer. Born in Barranquilla, his career started at an early age with different rhythms such as salsa, merengue, vallenato, ranchera, and more. He is in the middle of his international tour to promote her last musical production called Duele.

SON D'AQUI ORCHESTRA
Music Group - Tribute to "Grupo Niche"
Son D'aqui was formed in 2018 by Vince Alvarado and musical director Johan Aguirre. They pay tribute to all our legendary salsa stars, by performing all their greatest hits. They have also been honored with the task of backing up many international artists. Last summer, at the Mississauga Latin Festival, they performed a tribute to Colombian salsa which was excellent and now we will be able to watch it again!
