ALEX MICHELLE
Singer - MLF New Talent
Alex Michelle, daughter of Uruguayan parents, is a singer, songwriter, and musician from Toronto Canada who has been performing since the age of 6. She performs a wide range of genres including Pop, R&B, and Latin American music. Alex is currently working on receiving her bachelor’s degree in music performance. You can find her posting covers in both English and Spanish on Instagram and YouTube.

CAMILA AND BAND
Singer - PERU
Camila Lozada is a Peruvian artist inspired in sharing the richness of Latin-American music with the world. She has successfully performed for Arts Etobicoke, City Hall Toronto, and LAMP to raise funds for Unison, Benevolent Fund, an organization that helps artists and music professionals in need during the covid-19 pandemic. Last summer, she was a grant recipient of Musical Moments where she developed and led a Music Day Camp for high-risk children in South Etobicoke.

Urban & Pop Music - MFL New Talent
Two Venezuelan singers met in Canada and decided to create music together. Jose Rojas and Gilbert, both have been influenced by music at an early age. They work together creating and interpreting music, they want to keep on doing what they love and want more people to enjoy their music.

Folklore Exhibition - VENEZUELA
Sentir Venezuela Cultural Group is a non-profit organization that wants to express, promote, and encourage interest in the Venezuelan culture through its traditional music and dance. Their performances are joyful, energetic, colorful, vibrant, always smiling, and bringing Venezuela into their hearts.

SKYZZ
Singer - MLF New Talent
Skyzz is a pop singer-songwriter from the tropical country of Belize. Now residing in Canada, his music is an injection of styles from both countries, inspired by genres such as Latin Pop, Afrobeat, Hip-hop, and Alternative Rock. In 2017 he won Monitoba’s CJ107’s title of Most Talented Performer. Now in Toronto, Skyzz’ first collaboration with MellyQueen has won the hearts of the Latin community. Unlike the title of their song “Lento Y Pegadito”, the love for this single was quick and expansive among the Latin community.

COLOMBIAN DANCE COMPANY
Folklore Exhibition - COLOMBIA
Colombian Dance Company was established in Toronto in 2019 under the direction of Jorge Zarate Tristan, to share and promote Colombian folklore through dance. Colombian Dance Company is integrated with more than 28 members and with more than 6 pieces of repertoire based in the huge variety of regions of Colombia. Colombian Dance Company is a dance company recognized and supported in its activities by the Canada Council for the Arts and Toronto Art Council.

Cantante de música ranchera, boleros y baladas. Su trayectoria artística comenzó en su país natal Chile, participando en distintos festivales a lo largo del país. Recibió el premio a la memoria cultural de Peñalolén, una comuna de Santiago de Chile.

MANNY CARDENAS
Singer - PERU
Manny Cárdenas has been performing in front of audiences large and small since the early age of four. He has been featured in many Canadian and Latin American newspapers and radio stations and has appeared on several TV networks including City TV, CBC, OMNI, and TLN. After establishing a solid foundation in traditional Peruvian and Latin American rhythms, Manny now finds himself fronting his own group which bears his name, “Manny Cárdenas y Su Orquesta” which is quickly gaining recognition in Toronto.

LATIN SWING ORCHESTRA
Music Group
Bass player Fhanor Molina began his musical experience at an early age in the city of Cali, Colombia. After years of musical training and dedication, Fhanor Molina started his own Latin orchestra. The Latin Swing Orchestra is a group of professional musicians that have had the opportunity to participate in numerous festivals such as the Beaches Jazz International Festival, TD Niagara Jazz Festival, Brantford Jazz Festival, as well as private and local parties in various cities throughout Ontario.9:30 PM —
