In 2025, the Mississauga Latin Festival celebrated its 17th anniversary! One of Canada’s most vibrant and anticipated cultural celebrations proudly commemorated its seventeenth year.
From July 18th to 20th, 2026, at Mississauga’s iconic Celebration Square, a weekend full of energy unfolded, showcasing the rhythms, colours, and flavours of Latin America. Attendees enjoyed live music, dance, art, and traditional cuisine in a joyful celebration of Latin heritage.
The festival was a family-friendly event where children, adults, and seniors enjoyed the richness of our culture together in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. From exciting performances to delicious food, there was something for everyone!
In 2025, the festival welcomed two international artists, Jair Santrich and Otto Serge, directly from Colombia, to pay tribute to Colombia.
On Sunday, July 20th, the 215th anniversary of Colombian Independence was proudly commemorated with a flag-raising ceremony at noon, followed by a lively parade featuring the traditional Silleteros at 12:30 p.m., and a full day of programming, culminating in a DJ battle featuring eight local DJs paying homage to Colombia.
